Class etiquette
We want everyone to have a safe, enjoyable and positive experience at every AinyFit class. Please take a moment to read through our class etiquette before attending.
Arriving for Class
Please arrive with plenty of time to check in, especially if you're joining us for the first time. Classes begin promptly at the advertised start time.
If you do arrive late, please wait outside the studio until there is a suitable break in the music or activity before entering quietly. This helps avoid disrupting the rest of the class. Before joining in, make sure you've warmed up properly.
The warm-up is an essential part of every class, helping to prepare your body for exercise and reduce the risk of injury. If you miss the warm-up, you may not be able to take part, as exercising without warming up could affect insurance cover in the event of an injury.
If you're feeling unwell
If you're feeling unwell before your class, please stay at home and cancel your booking as soon as possible. This allows someone else who might be on the waiting list to be able to attend.
Please note that all cancellations must be made through your AinyFit account. Unfortunately, cancellations by phone, text, message or email cannot be accepted. Full cancellation details can be found in our cancellation policy.
Booking your class
All classes are regularly updated on our timetable, so if a class appears on the schedule, it's running as planned. Please book your place online before attending, even if you have a Class Pass.
Our class sizes are carefully limited to ensure everyone has enough space and receives safe, effective instruction. We never exceed these numbers.
If you've forgotten to book and there happens to be space available, you're very welcome to join. We'll book you in on arrival using your valid Class Pass or you'll be able to pay for a single class on a PAYG basis by card. Please note that we do not accept cash or cheques.
If you haven't booked in advance, there is a chance the class may already be full and you risk being turned away at the door, so we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
Class timetable
Occasionally we may need to cancel or remove a class from the timetable. If this happens, we'll do our best to let you know by email, text or through our Facebook page and group.
What to bring
Please wear suitable workout clothing and supportive footwear.
- Bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated.
- Bring any equipment you'll need for your class.
- Bare feet are only permitted during Fitness Pilates classes.
Having everything you need ready before class starts helps you relax and enjoy your workout without interruptions.
During Class
Listen to your body and work at a pace that feels right for you. You're always welcome to take a break whenever you need one, but try to keep gently moving rather than stopping suddenly to allow your heart rate to come down gradually.
If you feel unwell at any point during class, please stop exercising, sit down, have a drink and take a rest. Rejoin the class only when you feel comfortable to do so.
Respecting everyone's workout
We love seeing our members catching up and enjoying our friendly community. Feel free to chat before and after class, but once the session begins, please keep conversations to a minimum so everyone can hear the instructor/music and get the most from their workout.
AinyFit has a zero-tolerance policy towards bullying, harassment and discrimination of any kind.
Mobile phones
Please switch your phone to silent, or turn it off, for the duration of the class so everyone can enjoy an uninterrupted session.
If you're expecting an urgent call, simply let your instructor know before class starts, and if your phone does ring during the session, please step outside quietly before answering.
Most importantly ...
... Exercise at your own pace, enjoy the class, and have fun. We're delighted to have you with us!
Thank you for your co-operation. If you have any questions at all, please contact AinyFit directly.
